We can make a crossing<strong>(Barranco de Valdoria-Cueva Negra<\/strong>) making approaches by vehicle on roads or tracks in good condition to the points indicated as &#8220;P&#8221; (parking) on the map. We can also consider  <strong>two hiking loops<\/strong>one of them for the most daring ones, climbing up to the dams of the  <strong>Valdoria Ravine<\/strong>  and through a via ferrata from the beginning of the 20th century to the  <strong>La Silleta viewpoint<\/strong>or make a circular route, arriving at the dams and then returning by the  <strong>Rinc\u00f3n del Gorgo<\/strong>  avoiding the via ferrata.<\/p>\n<p>You can start the route in the <strong>Valdoria ravine<\/strong>, whose access is from the road from Albalate to Andorra (A-223). A well-compacted road leads to the beginning of the trail.<\/p>\n<p>The trail enters the bed of the ravine between walls of conglomerates, to some old water tanks from where we will return to the starting point -if we do not plan to make the ascent by the via ferrata-, by the <strong>Rinc\u00f3n del Gordo<\/strong>, forming a hiking loop. It is a corner of singular beauty, where stalagmitic lava flows stand out and where the path penetrates through a narrow subway passage under a series of individualized conglomerate blocks, like mallos, which were separated from the slope by the widening of a series of fractures parallel to the ravine.<\/p>\n<p>If we continue on the path from the tanks, we will reach a pool of water that we must overcome crouching down the rocky slope on the right (left bank of the ravine) to access a staircase that helps us to gain the slope that the waters of the ravine have drilled in the channel, to the storage dams of the ravine waters, boxed by the cuts. In this area a via ferrata from the beginning of the last century will facilitate the ascent. It is advisable to use a safety harness, carabiner and elements to hold on to the via ferrata, since the precipice is considerable. Once at the top of the hill, a small detour of about 15 minutes takes us closer to the  <strong>Orchard Cave<\/strong>It is also accessed by an iron staircase, where there is a spring that guarantees water to the dams and reservoirs that once supplied water to the town of Albalate del Arzobispo.<\/p>\n<p>We will reach the <strong>Silleta viewpoint<\/strong>, from where, on clear days, we can see the Pyrenees. Then we descend the slope of the sierra taking advantage of the zigzagging path to overcome the slope. You will soon come to a trail junction from where you can return to the parking point at the  <strong>Valdoria Ravine<\/strong>  or continue in the opposite direction towards  <strong>Black Cave<\/strong>  and to a small esplanade where it would have been convenient to have left the other vehicle that will avoid walking the way back, since it is possible to access this parking lot from the Ari\u00f1o-Albalate road (A-1401).<\/p>\n<p>A trail leads from this parking lot to the <strong>Cueva Negra (<\/strong> approximately 8 minutes one way).
