The City Council of Obón through the Cultural Park of the Martín River, within its Action Plan 2022 with the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage of the Government of Aragón, has carried out an emergency intervention to consolidate the first phase of the Obón Tower.

The work consisted of removing tons of palomina that were concentrated at the base, mixed with the remains of subsidence from the different floors and roof. The arrangement of a roof on a timber frame, which also serves as a bracing element and ties its crown. Elimination of deteriorated structures and maintenance of bracing elements of the walls or replacement of those that required them, as well as structural stitching in the tapial masonry throughout its interior.

After the consolidation of the tower in its interior, deteriorated structures and roof, it is planned in a second phase to act on the exterior, especially on the main facade that preserves an outstanding voussoir door.
